Boca Raton-based HairClub and Bosley Unite to Create New Hair Restoration Powerhouse
Two of the most recognizable names in hair restoration are joining forces.
Bosley and Boca Raton-based HairClub announced plans to unite under a new organization, Bosley HairClub, creating what the companies describe as North America’s most comprehensive total hair restoration company.
Expected to officially launch January 1, 2027, following the completion of certain pre-closing conditions, the combined organization will bring together more than 100 years of experience, over 130 locations across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, and two brands that have collectively served more than one million clients and patients.
Bosley HairClub is being built around a strategy to provide consumers with a single destination for nearly every stage of hair loss, from prevention and therapeutic treatments to non-surgical hair replacement, surgical restoration and long-term maintenance.
“Our vision is to create the future of hair restoration,” said Ahmad M. Wardak, who will serve as CEO of Bosley HairClub. “For too long, consumers have had to navigate disconnected providers and isolated treatment options. Consumers deserve access to the right solution at the right time through one trusted organization. That’s exactly why we are creating Bosley HairClub.”
Two Established Brands, One Continuum of Care
Bosley and HairClub have spent decades approaching hair restoration from complementary sides of the industry.
Bosley has built its reputation around surgical hair restoration and medical hair-loss treatments delivered through experienced physicians, while HairClub has become a leader in non-surgical hair replacement, therapeutic programs, ongoing maintenance and personalized client care.
Bringing those capabilities together creates something increasingly valuable in a rapidly evolving hair-loss market: a continuum of solutions that can change as the consumer's needs change.
The new organization plans to offer prevention, therapeutic treatments, non-surgical hair replacement systems, surgical hair restoration, DNA-driven customized solutions, telemedicine and long-term maintenance.
That means someone experiencing the earliest signs of hair loss could potentially begin with preventative or therapeutic options and, as their needs evolve, access more advanced non-surgical or surgical solutions without leaving the Bosley HairClub ecosystem.
“By bringing together the industry’s broadest continuum of personalized hair restoration solutions, we’re creating the industry’s first truly integrated platform capable of supporting consumers through every stage of hair loss from prevention and treatment to restoration and long-term maintenance,” Wardak said.
Competing in a Changing Hair-Loss Market
The combination comes as the hair restoration industry undergoes significant change.
Hair loss affects both men and women at an enormous scale. According to the American Hairloss Association, approximately two-thirds of men experience noticeable hair loss by age 35 and nearly 85% by age 50. The National LIbrary of Medicine also shares that up to 40% of women experience visible hair loss by age 50.
The deal comes as demand for hair restoration continues to grow. Market research from Grand View Horizon, cited by Bosley HairClub, projects the U.S. hair restoration market will more than double, growing from approximately $1.2 billion in 2023 to more than $3 billion by 2030.
That growth has attracted a wave of new competitors, including online platforms, subscription services and companies specializing in individual treatments or products.
While those options have expanded access, they have also created an increasingly fragmented marketplace in which consumers may need to navigate multiple providers to understand whether medication, therapeutic treatments, hair replacement or surgery is appropriate for them.
Bosley HairClub is taking a different approach.
Rather than focusing on a single product or treatment modality, the company intends to combine digital technologies and personalized solutions with physicians, hair-loss specialists and a network of physical locations. The strategy effectively blends elements of consumer healthcare, technology and traditional in-person care.
As demand for personalized hair restoration grows, Bosley HairClub said it expects to increase investment in treatment innovation, digital technologies, clinical excellence, consumer experience and emerging therapies while expanding access to personalized care.
A South Florida Executive Will Lead the Combined Company
The creation of Bosley HairClub not only puts a South Florida executive at the helm of the combined organization, it also establishes Boca Raton as the company's primary corporate location.
Bosley HairClub will maintain a bi-coastal headquarters presence, with its primary corporate offices in Boca Raton and key medical leadership remaining in Beverly Hills, California, an important center for Bosley's medical legacy.
“South Florida has been home to HairClub for many years, and Beverly Hills remains an important center for our medical leadership and the Bosley legacy,” shared Ahmad M. Wardak, CEO of HairClub. “Together, these locations reflect the national reach and combined strengths of Bosley HairClub, and we look forward to continuing to be active members of both communities.”
Wardak, currently CEO of Boca Raton-based HairClub, will become chief executive officer of Bosley HairClub. Bosley CEO Rob Spurrell will serve as president and chief operating officer.
“Bosley and HairClub each have exceptional histories and complementary strengths,” Spurrell said. “Together, we’re creating a capability our industry has never offered before. A single brand capable of providing consumers with the right solution throughout every stage of their hair restoration journey.”
Wardak's appointment comes following a significant transformation at HairClub.
After joining the company in 2022, he moved through several senior leadership positions before being named CEO in 2025. During that period, HairClub says it reversed five consecutive years of operating losses, returned to profitability, generated sustained positive cash flow and repaid its outstanding debt.
The decision to place Wardak at the helm of the combined organization now gives him responsibility for transforming two established brands into a single platform serving consumers across North America, with South Florida serving as the primary corporate center for that next chapter.
Building the Next Generation of Hair Restoration
Although Bosley and HairClub are both more than 50 years old, the strategy behind their combination is distinctly forward-looking.
Hair restoration is increasingly intersecting with personalized medicine, genetics, digital health, telemedicine and artificial intelligence. By combining those emerging capabilities with surgical expertise, non-surgical treatments and a network of more than 130 locations, Bosley HairClub has an opportunity to build a model that bridges traditional hair restoration with the increasingly technology-enabled future of consumer healthcare.
One immediate priority is determining how technology will connect the combined network. Rather than simply choosing between existing platforms, Bosley HairClub is evaluating both organizations’ capabilities with the goal of creating a connected environment that equips employees with the right tools and delivers a consistent client experience across every interaction.
Artificial intelligence is also expected to play a growing role, particularly in how the company analyzes and learns from its combined data.
“Using AI across our data analytics is an area we’re very excited about,” shared Vidette Pires, Chief Information Officer at Hair Club. “Bringing the two organizations together gives us an even greater opportunity to use our combined data with AI to better understand customer needs, sometimes even before they recognize it themselves.”
That could give the combined organization a deeper understanding of clients’ needs and how those needs may evolve over time. For Wardak, however, technology is ultimately about improving the human experience. “At the end of the day, we want to provide solutions and also hold their hands throughout the journey,” he said.
As the organizations integrate, Bosley HairClub plans to continue investing in treatment innovation, digital technologies and personalized care while preserving the expertise and heritage of both brands. “Ultimately, our success will not be measured by how effectively we combine two organizations,” Wardak said. “It will be measured by how well we change people’s lives.”
For South Florida, the combination marks the evolution of a longstanding Boca Raton company into a larger North American platform, with Boca Raton serving as its primary corporate center.
And for the industry, Bosley HairClub is betting that the future of hair restoration lies not in a single product or procedure, but in an integrated approach that can support consumers throughout their changing needs.
