Hallmark Venture Group Transforms into Drone Technology Company, Establishing New Chapter In Palm Beach County

Hallmark Venture Group, Inc. (OTC: HLLK) has announced a significant corporate transformation, evolving from a shell company into an operating drone technology business focused on unmanned aerial systems (UAS), defense technology, and related commercial applications.

The company recently completed a strategic transaction that includes a change of control, the acquisition of worldwide commercialization rights to an advanced drone technology portfolio developed by South Korea-based Sundori Drone Co., Ltd., and the appointment of new leadership to guide its next phase of growth. Hallmark Venture Group also plans to change its corporate name to SDR Drone Inc., subject to regulatory approvals and FINRA processing.

As part of the transition, the company has established its principal executive offices in North Palm Beach, Florida, placing the commercialization strategy for its newly acquired drone technology platform in Palm Beach County. While the underlying technology originated in South Korea, the company's leadership, strategic direction, and planned expansion are now being coordinated from South Florida.

The transformation reflects broader trends across the defense and aerospace industries, where governments and private organizations are investing heavily in autonomous systems, secure drone technologies, and allied-source manufacturing capabilities.

Building a Global Drone Technology Platform

At the center of the transaction is a comprehensive intellectual property portfolio that extends well beyond drone hardware. According to the company, the acquisition includes proprietary drone platforms, software and firmware, artificial intelligence and machine learning models, advanced manufacturing processes, technical documentation, and trade secrets developed by Sundori Drone.

The agreement also provides Hallmark Venture Group with worldwide commercialization rights to innovations disclosed in twelve Korean patents, along with exclusive rights to develop and file future improvement patents throughout the United States and other allied markets.

One of the transaction's most notable elements is the addition of the patents' inventor to the executive leadership team as Director and Chief Technology Officer. By retaining the technology's original architect, the company aims to ensure continuity in engineering leadership while accelerating future product development and innovation.

A New Business Strategy

Rather than operating solely as a drone manufacturer, Hallmark Venture Group intends to build an asset-light technology platform centered on intellectual property licensing, strategic partnerships, manufacturing collaboration, and international expansion.

"This transaction establishes the foundation for our next stage of growth," said Sun Sik Cho, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Director of Hallmark Venture Group. "We are combining proven drone technologies, intellectual property and operational expertise to build a platform capable of pursuing opportunities across defense, government, public safety and commercial markets."

The acquired technology portfolio supports applications including surveillance, reconnaissance, autonomous operations, swarm management, and other advanced unmanned aerial capabilities. According to the company, Sundori Drone has supplied drone systems to Korean government and defense customers since 2019.

The transaction also establishes ongoing technology transfer, engineering support, and operational collaboration between Hallmark Venture Group and Sundori Drone as the company pursues opportunities throughout the United States and allied markets.

Why It Matters to South Florida

Hallmark Venture Group's transformation adds another advanced technology company to Palm Beach County's growing innovation ecosystem. While Florida has long been recognized for its aerospace, aviation, and defense industries, South Florida has increasingly emerged as a center for technology commercialization, entrepreneurship, and international business.

The region has experienced growing momentum in sectors including artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity, aerospace, quantum computing, and advanced manufacturing. Institutions such as Florida Atlantic University, University of Miami, Research Park at FAU, Palm Beach State College, and organizations like eMerge Americas have helped strengthen the pipeline connecting research, entrepreneurship, and commercialization.

The company's decision to establish its executive headquarters in North Palm Beach aligns with this broader evolution. South Florida's strategic location, international connectivity, expanding investor network, and access to engineering and technology talent continue attracting companies seeking to scale innovative technologies for U.S. and global markets.

Although Hallmark Venture Group has not announced plans for local manufacturing facilities or significant hiring initiatives, its commercialization strategy could create future opportunities for engineers, software developers, artificial intelligence specialists, aerospace suppliers, advanced manufacturers, and strategic business partners throughout the region.

Meeting a Growing Global Demand

The timing of the company's transformation coincides with unprecedented global demand for secure and trusted drone technologies.

Governments and critical infrastructure operators are increasingly investing in unmanned aerial systems for defense, border security, emergency response, infrastructure inspection, disaster recovery, and autonomous operations. At the same time, many countries are working to diversify supply chains and reduce reliance on foreign-manufactured drone platforms by strengthening domestic and allied technology partnerships.

"We believe demand for trusted, allied-source drone technologies will continue to increase as governments and organizations seek secure alternatives for defense and critical infrastructure applications," said Vincent Chung, spokesperson for EQUORIX, LLC, the technology commercialization holding company that became Hallmark Venture Group's controlling shareholder through the transaction.

"Our objective is to build a scalable technology platform that supports long-term growth through strategic partnerships, technology deployment and international expansion."

From Shell Company to Operating Business

The completion of the transaction marks a significant milestone for Hallmark Venture Group. Following the change of control and acquisition of the Sundori Drone technology portfolio, the company officially ceased operating as a shell company and began executing its business plan focused on drone technology, intellectual property licensing, strategic partnerships, manufacturing collaboration, and international market development.

The company expects its planned rebranding to SDR Drone Inc. to better reflect its long-term strategic direction as it expands its presence within the rapidly evolving unmanned systems industry.

Looking Ahead

While Hallmark Venture Group's transformation positions the company to participate in one of the fastest-growing segments of aerospace and defense technology, its long-term success will ultimately depend on execution. Key milestones will include securing commercial and government customers, expanding strategic partnerships, advancing product development, obtaining regulatory approvals where required, and translating its newly acquired intellectual property into sustainable revenue.

If successful, the transition could establish SDR Drone Inc. as an emerging participant in the global unmanned aerial systems market. For South Florida, the company's presence in North Palm Beach represents another example of the region's growing role in commercializing advanced technologies with international reach.

As artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, and defense innovation continue to converge, Palm Beach County is increasingly positioning itself as a destination where next-generation technologies can grow from concept to commercialization.
